Payroll Analyst – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

A+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the technology sector to recruit a Payroll Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional to join a diverse and innovative business on a fixed-term basis.

The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will take ownership of payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves a mix of hands-on payroll work, compliance, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls across multiple locations
Preparation of payroll-related reports and summaries for management
Payroll posting and reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts
Analysis of payroll costs and allocations by business unit
Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and employment legislation
Supporting month-end and year-end payroll processes
Assisting Finance team members with ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years’ payroll experience, ideally in a multinational environment
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Knowledge of Irish and UK payroll regulations and taxation (experience with other jurisdictions an advantage)
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with UKG/Immedis or a similar outsourced payroll provider is desirable
