Are you a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in financial control and reporting within banking or financial services? This is a unique opportunity to lead a Financial Control team in Monaco, shaping the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for a world-leading institution.

The Role
You will oversee the preparation of local statutory financial statements, tax and regulatory reporting (e.g. ACPR), month-end close, reconciliations, and group reporting requirements. Partnering closely with both local and offshore teams, you will ensure robust controls, support external audits, and contribute to transformation and simplification initiatives.
As a leader, you will manage and develop a small team, set priorities, and maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, change-driven environments and enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership.

What You’ll Bring

• Qualified Accountant with 10+ years’ experience in banking or financial services
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience in regulatory reporting, financial control, and tax compliance
• Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team
• Fluency in French and professional-level English
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; SAP or Avaloq exposure a plus

Desirable Extras

• Private banking or wealth management experience
• Background in transformation or change projects
• System/process improvement within finance functions
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
