Senior Accountant – North Cork

Job Overview.

My client is a leading international engineering company with over 50 years of industry success and annual revenues exceeding €80m. Due to continued growth across the UK and Ireland, they are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager to their team in Cork.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce timely and accurate financial & management accounts
• Manage P&L, balance sheet, fixed assets and revenue reporting
• Coordinate with auditors and manage audit queries
• Oversee stock valuations and cash flow forecasting
• Manage project and contract costing to ensure profitability
• Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 3–5 years PQE
• Experience in manufacturing or service industry highly desirable
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who can collaborate across departments
• Motivated, ambitious and eager to grow professionally
