An established and successful business in North Kerry has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Finance team. The Accounts Payable Assistant is a key member of the Finance Department, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. This role involves reconciling supplier accounts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining records to support audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-volume Accounts Payable (AP) processing accurately and efficiently
  • Manage month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Prepare and complete supplier and creditor reconciliations
  • Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a similar Accounts Payable roles
  • Fluent English
  • Right to live and work in Ireland
