A+F Recruitment are recruiting an Accounts Receivable Assistant for a 12 month contract for our client based in Limerick!
Profile:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Assistant will be in charge of providing financial and administrative services to secure the accuracy and efficiency of operations.
Abilities and desired qualities:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification in Finance desirable.
- Excellent people skills with ability to work in a cross functional team
- High commitment to confidentiality.
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of Financial controls necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirement
- Ability to multi-task, manage your own time and work on own initiative
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and general computer uses
- Capacity to perform in a dynamic, challenging atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts and incoming payments
- Examining invoices and dispatching to clients
- Verify discrepancies
- Examine, categorise, calculate, enter and document accounts receivable information.
- Respond to and resolve customers’ billing issues and questions
- Monitor and minimize bad debts
- Prepare and manage bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger
- Make sure that all payments are properly posted
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Assist in preparing detailing accounts receivable status
- Respond to relevant audit requests
- Complete other finance related duties as the business requires.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Quality and EHS policies and procedures are always adhered to.
