A+F Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Capital Project Accountant for a permanent position based in either Dublin or Limerick on a hybrid basis.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in one of Irelands renowned private hospitals.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage all month end capital reporting activities including developing and maintaining cashflow forecasts for all capital projects within the Group.
• Manage all month end capital reporting activities, including payment schedules, associated valuation recommendations and certification as required.
• Support the Deputy Group Director of Capital Projects and the Group Director of Capital Projects in monitoring the capital spend for all Group projects, ensuring the relevant processes are actively implemented and financial and business risks are identified and mitigated.
• Ensure the capital spend program is aligned to the Group Finance policies and procedures and the business case.
• Work with the Capital Project Manager / Design Team assigned to each hospital site capital project and the Project Team and Design Team, to ensure accurate costing and performance measurement.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant Accounting qualification (Qualified ACA / ACCA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Evidence of continual professional development.
• 5 years post qualification experience.
• Excellent accounting and/or auditing skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
