A+F Recruitment have partnered with a well know city centre firm to hire a Commercial Finance Manager to join their growing team.

The funciton of the Commerical Finance team is to work with key managers and the senior leadership team to aid the delivery of the firms’ strategic plans through the provision of insights and analysis across functions, business units and markets.

This role will appeal to someone with a commercial finance/ business partnering/ strategy background. Someone who can create business models and work with senior stakeholders to deliver insightful analysis.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance  you will:

• Have a deep understanding of business and performance drivers
• Develop insights and analysis across functions, business units and markets to understand trends
• Play a pivotal role in supporting business performance analysis with a focus on genuinely insightful output
• Prepare insightful presentations and reports for distribution to executive team and Partners 
• Have key involvement in strategic and financial planning processes 
• Develop ad hoc business models to support strategic scenario planning
• Manage and track investment spend and analyse investment returns
• Be well organised, agile, and adaptable in responding to conflicting business priorities 
• Be comfortable managing multiple ongoing deliverables/projects

 
 Requirements:
 

• Qualified ACA 
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience of working in a commercial finance or business partner role 
• Professional services experience a plus
• Genuine interest in business performance and strategy – prior experience in strategic and financial planning processes 
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders 
• Highly data literate
• Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experienced in creating business models
• Team player and highly collaborative 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Agile and flexible attitude to meet changing priorities
• Strong deadline awareness and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
