Compliance & Corporate Finance Accountant

Job Overview.

A+F Recruitment has been exclusively engaged by an expanding boutique advisory firm in Cork City to recruit an accountant to join their Corporate Finance team.

Working closely with the Corporate Finance Partner the role has two main functions:

Accounting Compliance for the firms’ clients (60%)

And,

Corporate Finance and Advisory services (40%)

The firm is advisory lead and, through this activity, has developed a steady book of compliance work from clients.

This work is currently delivered by the corporate finance Partner and you will take over much of this responsibility.

With demand for corporate finance services continuing to grow at the firm, you will also support the Partner in the delivery of sale and acquisition mandates. Including, but not limited to: financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring & advising on exit strategy.

You will be joining a progressive and exceptional team with a record of developing and promoting talent.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant, trained in practice with commercial acumen & high standards, enjoying working with clients and capable of owning the compliance process.

The firm has seen equal success in accountants from Big 4 and non-Big 4 firms joining their team and is open in this regard.

Previous experience in Corporate Finance and Accounting Compliance is advantageous, but not essential.
