Experience: 3-5 Years Years Sector: General Accounting

My client is a leading pharmaceutical organization who has an immediate requirement for an experienced Finance Assistant for a 6 month contract. 

Hybrid working arrangements available.

The purpose of this role is to support business stakeholders to ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms and to provide general administrative support to the finance group.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Resolving Mismatches and RFI’s from Global Services in a timely fashion
  • Taking ownership and actioning more complex issues preventing suppliers from being paid as per agreed terms.
  • Producing reports, schedules and summaries for operational activities and business reviews.
  • Actively seeking and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Adhoc duties assisting within the Finance Department
  • Managing local payments ensuring all documentation is fully compliant

Education and Experience:

  • Several years relevant finance experience, manufacturing experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to operate as part of a team is critical.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative.
