Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to assist in the day-to-day running of a professional, team-oriented finance department based in Dublin 1.

This is a hybrid, part-time role, where you will be working Monday to Fridays, ideally in the mornings.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing the Debtors and Creditors ledger
  • Daily posting and monthly reconciliation of bank transactions
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts to include month end roll-over, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, control account reconciliation, year end audit processes, and accounts review and file preparation.
  • Salaries and pension returns as well as bi-monthly VAT returns.

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified IATI or CPA and be able to demonstrate at least three years of broad finance experience with an SME. Excellent excel skills are also important and ideally some experience in the use of Sage payroll.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be able to start from the first week of August and also you will be able to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills as well as an ability to show initiative and work as part of a small team.
