Time for a change and looking for a Finance Business Partner role? This role is an opportunity to join a market leader in the Irish Insurance market – to join a committed team of professionals and work with some of the best.

This Finance Business Partner will support the preparation of all budgeting and forecasting of P&L metrics including expenses. The role will also support Finance and business areas with performance reporting including maintaining the cost allocation framework. The role will allow you to develop understanding of business performance and finance systems while building relationships within Finance and across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the budgeting, planning and business strategy processes, challenging the numbers where appropriate and highlighting risks and opportunities
• Working closely with business areas to produce robust forecasts for headcount and expenses
• Working closely with business areas to produce robust premium forecasts
• Supporting the Financial Reporting Team with performance analysis
• Maintaining and updating the cost allocation framework
• Developing business cases and highlighting potential outcomes
• Supporting maintenance and improvements in the Anaplan planning tool

Experience & qualifications

• A qualified accountant with previous finance business partnering experience or strong desire to move into this type of role
• Experience in insurance industry an advantage but not a prerequisite
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Financial modelling skills would be an advantage
