Finance Business Partner – FP&A

Job Overview.

A+F Recruitment have partnered with a well known Irish brand that is going through a rapid growth phrase and is seeking to hire a Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner as part of a fast-paced Finance team.

The successful candidate will be a confident and ambitious person who can fit in seamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to the finance team and business. The role will report into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and will be based in Group headquarters in Dublin West.

Core responsibilities:

• Provide financial insight and analysis to support commercial decision making
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models to support business cases
• 5 year business plan modelling
• Support the delivery of the budgeting and monthly forecasting processes across the Group
• Production of agreed management reports and provide critical analysis on operating and financial performance metrics
• Capex reporting and coordination of capital investment review process and
• Assist Head of FP&A in providing key analysis to senior stakeholders across the Group
• Drive the adoption of Oracle EPM system (FCCS and PBCS) across the business
• Bank Covenant reporting
• Standardisation of reporting and driving continuous improvement in the process
• Contribute to ad hoc project groups as necessary

Requirements:

• An accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
• Minimum of 5+ years’ PQE, ideally with a mix of practice and industry experience preferred.
• Transaction services experience an advantage
• Modelling and Power BI capability
• Possess strong analytical and structured thinking, exposures to team work, demonstrate good commercial thinking and business acumen.
• Strong analytical skills, able to identify and interpret trends and improve financial forecasting.
• Work effectively under pressure and to meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while maintaining quality at all times.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people all levels professionally.
• Ability to understand the strategic business goals of an organisation, able to ‘look beyond the numbers’ and understand the wider business context
• Willing to travel ad hoc if required
