Fully qualified ACA with excellent analytical and numerical skills in a regulated environment, experience in intercompany accounting and controls from having worked in SLA operations + a high-level understanding of transfer pricing.
 
The role of the Finance SLA Operations Team Lead (VP) is to lead intercompany accounting operations for the Group’s EMEA Operations. This requires team leadership and management skills, a passion for process improvement, an understanding of group intercompany service flows and related transfer pricing methods, oversight over calculation, invoicing and settlement processes, data quality review, production of insightful MI, liaison with relevant financial controllers and general stakeholder transactions.
 
Skills, knowledge and attributes:
 

• Educated to degree standard and holder of a professional qualifications (Chartered Accountants Ireland) with strong numerical and financial skills and understanding of the regulatory environment.
• The ability to clearly communicate to senior management both verbally and in writing to gain the confidence and trust of management in their relationship management role.
• Experience in intercompany accounting processes and controls.
• A passion for process improvement.
• Experience of tools that can be used to improve process efficiency and enhance user experience such as Power BI, Power Apps, etc.
• Attention to detail & accuracy –  Right first time confirms the quality of their own work and that of others
• Risk Aware – Understands the risks associated with the role and mitigates where possible
• Flexibility – displays speed and flexibility, able to manage changing priorities
