Finance Manager – ICT, Shared Services

Job Overview.

Reporting to the Head of ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) Strategy, Planning & Governance, the ICT Finance Manager will lead and coordinate ICT financial reporting, budgeting and business engagement on ICT finance matters. The ICT Finance Manager will work closely with business units and corporate functions on ICT finance and related matters.

Your role:

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Finance function to co-ordinate and deliver regular monthly financial reporting, including providing meaningful variance analysis to budget and prior year
• Lead the annual ICT budget process in liaison with ICT, Business Units and Corporate Functions including presentation to the ICT Steering Committee
• End-to-end ICT budget lead and central point of contact with responsibility for all ICT expenditure including project, operating and capital expenditure.
• Agreement of ICT employee headcount allocations and project time assignment of all ICT staff in the budget process
• Compilation of relevant employee and contractor monthly time returns to enable calculation of cost recharges to business units
• Manage and maintain the ICT fixed asset register
• Ensure that finance and business partnering relationships are maintained and enhanced with group business units and corporate functions.
• Participation in internal ICT process and improvement initiatives where relevant

Your skills, knowledge and attributes:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum of four years post qualification experience
• Relevant industry experience in a shared services environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Diligent and self-motivated and able work under own initiative
• Experience of coordinating budget activities with multiple stakeholders
• Experience engaging with and presenting to senior executives and business stakeholders
• Proficient using Microsoft Office applications– Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
