Experience: 5-7 YearsSector: General Accounting

Working directly with the Head of Finance for a small local finance team, you will be responsible for managing day to day financial operations, delivering financial analysis and reporting, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day financial operations such as accounts payable, cash collection, vendor management, cash-flow forecasting, taxes and financial statement consolidation
  • Monitor revenues and expenses; manage collections, debt, and local financial reporting
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for HQ
  • Support local growth by providing financial insights to client-facing teams
  • Assist with commercial operations involving customers, vendors, and partners
  • Maintain banking relationships
  • Ensure GAAP-compliant accounting and approve local financial statements
  • Control the country budget and provide regular forecast updates

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Ideally practice trained with 3-5 PQE in industry/ general finance
  • Hands on finance experience in a small to medium sized company
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (US GAAP/IFRS16)
  • Proactive, curious and will to take ownership of tasks
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced Excel and solid MS Office proficiency
