Are you a qualified Financial Accountant with experience in the insurance sector? Here’s your chance to join the Dublin office of a leading international insurer and play an important role in their finance team. 

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager for International Contracts, you will oversee the financial analysis and reporting for assigned international contracts. Key responsibilities include:

• Monthly Analysis: Review, control, and analyse international contract performance, preparing detailed analysis and commentary to highlight key drivers.
• Profitability Assessments: Participate in evaluating contract profitability, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and managing internal controls.
• Onboarding Support: Ensure seamless onboarding for new international contracts by setting up processes and data flows prior to commencement.
• Profit Sharing & Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of client profit share reports and underwriting year assessments.
• Collaboration: Liaise with local and group finance teams to integrate international contracts into consolidated results, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Audit Compliance: Maintain transparent audit trails for all assigned contracts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with external partners to provide required data for international contracts.

What We’re Looking For
our client is looking to hire a qualified accountant with proven experience in financial reporting, accounts preparation, and control within the insurance industry. Alternatively, you may come from a large accounting firm with a portfolio of insurance clients.
