Experience: 3-5 Years Years Sector: Financial Accounting

Working as part of this non-life Insurance company based in Dublin, the role of Qualified Financial Accountant will play a significant role in Irish branch finance team activities. This role is central to the accounting and consolidation process of a busy finance team as well as providing support in the Financial Reporting of local accounts.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant working within a Finance department with exposure to general ledger account reconciliations, online banking, credit control, accounts preparation and financial reporting.
The successful candidate must have:

  • Insurance/Reinsurance background and accounting experience
  • SAP reporting system knowledge and experience
  • Qualified with a recognised accounting body
  • Excellent numeric skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to use all MS Office programs
  • A strong ability to work on their own initiative
  • Possess excellent problem solving and relationship building skills
