Financial Accountant – Part/Qualified

Job Overview.

Experience: 1-2 Years Years Sector: Financial Accounting

Based in London, this is a permanent financial accounting role supporting the Finance team of a global financial institution with operations in both London and Dublin.  This broad-based role will suit a part-qualified (or qualified) accountant ideally working in Financial Services or Banking and who can demonstrate the following capability/experience:
 
Responsibilities: 

• Preparing and posting journals (after manager review)
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations so that every item is reconciled back to a supporting item monthly
• Preparing (annually) financial statements (rolling forward existing file) for a simple entity
• Preparing funding requests to fund bank accounts for salary, tax expenses, vendor payments
• Preparing and submitting head office returns (after manager review)
• Tasks associated with month end close period
• Booking Accruals/Prepayments for missed invoices/invoices paid in advance
