Financial Analyst – Fixed Term Contract – Berlin

Job Overview.

Experience: 3-5 YearsSector: Financial Accounting

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting local finance, accounting and tax responsibilities and will perform multiple tasks from a variety of responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processes payment of ground rent timely, based on requests from Accounts Payable and Asset Management
• Responds to financial inquiries on ground rent and other general suppliers by gathering, analyzing, interpreting and reporting data and overall manages vendors in conjunction with AP function.
• Assists in the coordination of the loan drawdown process.
• Support the external audit and the accounting teams for the year-end audit and other statutory or lenders reporting
• Assist with generating invoices to Customers and completion of relevant reconciliations
• Works with shared service accounting team with month-end tasks and assisting the Head of Finance with activities with external local accounting firm.
• Contributes to departmental and company-wide objectives as required
• Supports local growth activities by providing financial information and ad hoc reporting as necessary.

Requirements:

• High school degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and administrative functions
• Must have strong Excel skills as well as other MS Office suite products experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft AX or other ERP systems is a plus
• German and ability to read and write in English
• Motivation to learn and grow, strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience operating in a multinational environment is a plus
