Head of Finance – France

Reporting to the European CFO, the Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the finance, accounting, and tax responsibilities for the organisations’ entities in France and the French West Indies. You will be based in the company’s Paris office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the France Finance team to deliver financial targets and maximize shareholder value
  • Direct and support Corporate resources serving European markets, including Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury
  • Support M&A and Corporate Development processes in France and FWI, contributing to the financial analysis, accounting, and funding of acquisition targets
  • Lead post-acquisition financial integration of France and FWI businesses, establishing and maintaining effective control environments, accurate financial reporting, and efficient financial processes
  • Ensure effective execution of revenue and expense cycles, including tenant billing and collections, ground rent payments, and vendor payments, with the support of shared services and corporate teams
  • Act as co-lead of the European Accounting team based, supervising the accounting close, take responsibility for the quality of the accounting information, support the corporate heads of Accounting and Tax to oversee statutory reporting and tax functions outsourced to professional service providers to ensure full and timely compliance
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to inform strategic decisions impacting France and FWI markets, and to support European and Corporate management teams and department leads
  • Support Corporate Treasury, Accounting, and Finance departments in the preparation and evaluation of external reporting to lenders and investors
  • Secure liquidity through disciplined working capital management and initiatives and business case justification for capex investment
  • Leverage data resources including Siterra / Site Tracker, Microsoft Dynamics, Solver and other financial systems and processes to identify and implement initiatives to maximize Cash Flow
  • Manage joint venture relationships, leading preparation of board meetings, overseeing reporting, and interacting with partners to build the relationship and business


  • Degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 10 -15 years of experience managing general finance functions, over 5 of which in divisional or international finance roles
  • Experience structuring and managing complex, multinational financial processes and teams
  • Strong practical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards
  • Direct experience establishing and maintaining effective financial control environments
  • Post-merger integration experience
  • Highly developed cross-cultural multinational management skills, with ability to operate in a matrixed structure to effectively leverage shared resources
  • Strong work ethic, accountability for results, and stamina to succeed in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience working with ERP and BI systems to leverage data to manage the financial function effectively
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex topics for communication to regional and corporate headquarters
  • Fluent in French and English
