International Tax Manager

About the Company
Our client is a leading multinational with a growing global footprint and a strong presence in Cork. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, they are a key player in their industry, delivering innovation, sustainable practices, and high-performance standards across their operations.
As the business continues to grow internationally, they are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to support global tax compliance, and planning initiatives, while partnering closely with regional finance and commercial teams.

The role is initially a 12 month contract, however the team is keen to see the position become permanent.

As a comparatively small global tax and finance team, this role has full visibility over the whole business and reports directly to the global head of tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting processes for international entities, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Provide input on cross-border transactions and transfer pricing
• Oversee Indirect Tax compliance
• Support the business to maximise R&D Tax incentives in Ireland
• Monitor international tax developments (OECD, EU, US, etc.) and assess their impact on the business.
• Support tax audits and liaise with local advisors and tax authorities as needed.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax-efficient business structures.
• Drive continuous improvement and process automation in global tax reporting.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Tax Professional (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 4–8 years’ experience in international tax, ideally gained in a Big 4 firm and/or in-house with a multinational group.
• Experience managing or reviewing corporate income tax compliance
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, highly organised, and commercially aware.
