Are you a Corporate Finance professional with experience in the renewable energy sector? Are you passionate about climate change?
I am working exclusively with a newly established business that provides corporate finance, M&A, transaction management and strategic advice to clients in the renewable energy sector. Due to a busy pipeline of work and increased business needs, they are looking to add a Junior Corporate Finance Executive to their team.
The Junior Corporate Finance Executive will support senior executives in all aspects of corporate finance and renewable projects.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their Corporate Finance career who is eager to develop their skills in financial analysis, business valuation, financial modelling, research & report writing and general administrative assistance with renewable energy projects and initiatives.
***Please note this position is based in Co Tipperary and requires someone onsite 3 days per week***
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager and the Managing Director, key responsibilities will be:
- Conducting in-depth research on the renewables industry. Including: analysing market trends, identifying key players, and staying abreast of regulatory developments.
- Supporting clients with their renewable projects. Including: assisting with finance data analysis, financial modelling, report writing and proposal development
- Assisting in preparing presentations and pitch decks for prospective clients, investors, and senior management.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and stress tests to assess the potential impact of different scenarios on financial models.
- Preparing reports, presentations, newsletters and other materials. Including: the compilation and summarisation of information, creating clear and concise content, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Contributing to the development of renewable energy initiatives. Including conducting research for renewables focused seminars, workshops, or other events, and assisting with the creation of renewables focused marketing and educational materials.
- Providing administrative support to the management team: Including: managing schedules, organising meetings, preparing documentation, overseeing the logistics of planning and running educational events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Progress towards or interest in professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA is a plus.
- Excellent financial analysis and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance/ corporate finance, investment banking, financial consulting, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with financial modeling and valuation tools is desirable.
- Interest in and passion for renewable energy and the transition to Net Zero
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Self-motivated with a desire to develop professionally.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and presentations.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a corporate finance environment.
