My client is an international infrastructure telecoms business who is looking to expand their European M&A team.

Based in Madrid, you will play a key role in executing telecom infrastructure acquisitions, leading due diligence, financial modeling, and integration efforts from LOI to close.

You will be a key member of the European M&A team team who are subject matter experts in all stages of the due diligence, transaction and acquisition process for wireless telecommunications infrastructures.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full M&A transaction lifecycle
  • Perform in-depth due diligence and financial analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership and investors

In depth Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership on the full cycle of the transaction from the Letter of Intent (LOI) through Integration
  • Responsible for organizing and summarizing and reporting acquisition portfolios and due diligence findings to senior management, lenders, and investors
  • Write and work on financial models for purposes of revenue and cash flow forecasting, balance sheet forecasting and preparing Indications of Value using Leveraged Buyout scenarios
  • Collect preliminary due diligence, from seller/broker, and perform analysis of assets; coordinates with management to make additional requests from sellers
  • Prepare and present reports on due diligence findings to management on a wide variety of transactions
  • Prepare Data summarizing acquisitions to be presented to management and investors for a wide variety of transactions
  • Leads and coordinates post-close integration process for new acquisitions and assists various internal departments as needed for proper hand off
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and assistance on other projects as needed

Requirements:

  • University Degree/ Masters; preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • 2 – 4 years of M&A or Transaction Services experience (Telecoms / Real Estate a distinct advantage)
  • Advanced Excel modeling, due diligence and analytical skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English AND/ OR French / Italian (written and spoken)
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite products (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, ability to multi-task under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills, the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role.
