A+F Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading global bank with significant operations here in Dublin. Our client is expanding it’s EMEA footprint and is on the path to becoming ECB regulated. As such, they are building a new ECB Regulatory Reporting team in Dublin.
Ireland is also becoming the new EU hub for Technology and Innovation so it is a very exciting time to be joining the team in Ireland getting in at ground level and working with and learning from an established team in Europe.
As part of this new team, my client is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Data Operations Associate.
In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of regulatory reporting, data analytics, and controls, playing a key part in ensuring accurate, high-quality regulatory data aligns with ECB initiatives such as iREF and BIRD. You’ll support core regulatory submissions while helping shape the future state of regulatory data production. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in ECB-driven regulatory frameworks while working closely with Finance, IT, Data, and Change teams.
As an Associate you will:
- Support the development of a data-centric regulatory reporting function, working with large datasets, controls, and analytics that underpin key regulatory submissions.
- Prepare and analyse regulatory reporting data for returns such as COREP, FINREP and Pillar 3
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and period-on-period analysis
- Identify, track, and support the resolution of data quality issues
- Support data corrections and document their impact on regulatory templates
- Assist with regulatory disclosures, ad-hoc data requests, and management review packs
- Contribute to process improvements, including automation, data analytics, and visualisation initiatives
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience and/or interest in banking, regulatory reporting, and data analysis
- Prior exposure to regulatory reporting or Banking/ financial Services (internship, graduate role, or advisory) is a plus
- Comfortable working with data and IT tools (advanced Excel a must; SQL / Power BI a plus)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Curious, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and challenge existing processes
