Senior Accountant – Wexford

Job Overview.

My client is a global manufacturing organisation who is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Wexford.

This is a key role on their established finance team offering a great progression path to FC level over time. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director partnering across commercial, operations, production, supply chain and technical teams providing financial insight, cost analysis and finance & budgeting support across the business.

The role will develop strong relationships with internal and group stakeholders, alongside external partners, such as auditors, clients, banks.

The successful candidate will play a central role in driving financial performance, governance, reporting accuracy and strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly management accounts & financial reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis
• Product costing, sales reporting & margin analysis
• Credit management & cashflow oversight
• IFRS compliance, VAT & statutory reporting
• Commercial support to operational teams
• Financial presentations to local & group leadership

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong financial control & commercial finance experience
• Proven track record in financial accounting, reporting, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting
• Experience within manufacturing or operational environments preferred
• ERP systems experience (Dynamics NAV, Oracle or similar)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on approach with strong analytical capability
