I am working with a global organisation in the Telecoms sector who, due to continued growth and expansion, are looking for a Senior M&A Analyst to join their European M&A team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a dynamic, international team within a growing infrastructure business.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and will take ownership of due diligence and transaction processes across multiple infrastructure acquisitions. The role involves a mix of hands-on financial analysis and strategic coordination.

Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership on the full cycle of the transaction from the Letter of Intent (LOI) through Integration
- Responsible for organising and summarising and reporting acquisition portfolios and due diligence findings to senior management, lenders, and investors
- Writes and works on financial models for purposes of revenue and cash flow forecasting, balance sheet forecasting and preparing Indications of Value using Leveraged Buyout scenarios
- Collects preliminary due diligence, from seller/broker, and performs analysis of assets; coordinates with management to make additional requests from sellers
- Reviews initial due diligence documentation and provide feedback in report form to management
- Prepares a Data Tape summarizing the acquisition to be presented to management and investors for a wide variety of transactions
- Reviews financial and legal abstracts performed by customer and land leases to determine current rental rates, rights, terms, and eventually integrate them into the company’s billing and payment systems
- Reviews title abstracts, surveys, zoning law and other land rights documents to ensure clean chain of title in conjunction with the legal team
- Abstracts ground leases, deeds and tenant leases in the company’s billing and payment systems
- Performs ad-hoc financial analysis as needed on various leases and asset portfolios
- Leads and coordinates external contractor diligence on the assets on a periodic basis
- Performs full site document review, abstraction, and analysis as required to provide complete data on checklist form for any final acquisition decision
- Prepares and presents reports on due diligence findings to management on a wide variety of transactions
- Leads and coordinates post-close integration process for new acquisitions and assists various departments within the organisation as needed for proper hand off
- Assists on other projects as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-year college degree; preferably in in Finance or Accounting
- Min 5 years of M&A or Transaction Services experience ideally in Big 4, M&A advisory or Investment Banking
- Experience in Towers/ Telecoms and/or Real Estate industry highly preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have strong Excel modeling and analytical skills
- Fluency in English, Spanish AND French is essential
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite products (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Self-motivated/self-managed with a high degree of financial analytical ability
- Demonstrated mastery balancing multiple tasks, project management skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, ability to multi-task under pressure with minimal supervision
- Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
- Requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role.
