My client is seeking a Senior Payroll Associate to join their Dublin team and play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality payroll services.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Compensation & Benefits, and other key partners. You’ll work side by side with the existing Senior Payroll Associate to deliver seamless payroll operations, continuous improvement, and a first-class employee experience.
***This position is being offered on a 6 month contract basis with a strong possibility of permanency thereafter. Ideally you will be available to start immediately (or with a short notice period) ***
Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume weekly and monthly payroll cycles
- Ensure accuracy and compliance under tight deadlines
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors
- Handle payroll queries with a customer-first mindset
- Support audits, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years’ payroll experience in Ireland (multinational preferred)
- IPASS (or equivalent) qualification
- Strong knowledge of payroll, tax, and compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with Workday / Softworks (a plus)
- Prior experience with third-party payroll providers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative approach with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
