Our client is an expanding aircraft leasing company committed to providing innovative and reliable solutions to the aviation industry. With a global presence and a diverse fleet, they specialise in offering tailored leasing options worldwide. As they continue to expand, they have a new opportunity for qualified and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join their tax team.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimising our tax position. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this position offers a unique opportunity for a qualified tax professional with expertise in Irish corporation tax and a preference for experience in international tax. The successful candidate will have visibility at CEO and CFO levels, providing strategic insights to key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws, with a specific focus on Irish corporation tax, related to aircraft leasing transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement tax planning strategies, optimising the company’s tax position.
  • Provide tax support for aircraft leasing transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and documentation.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the aviation industry.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and organised tax documentation. Generate periodic tax reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in tax audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to tax authorities.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of tax considerations into business operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the tax function.


  • Qualified tax professional (CTA) with a focus on Irish corporation tax. Experience in international tax is a plus, but not essential.
  • Trained in a reputable firm with medium and large client experience
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactice, can-do attitude with a high level of curiosity and initiaitive
