Our client, a leading accounting firm based in Dublin, have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to join their highly respected tax team

Your Role (A Guide)
– Project manage the delivery of a broad cross sector of assignments and supervise the junior team members as required. This involves managing the delivery of assignments to a high standard of quality, while adhering to allotted timescales, budgets and resource allocation and presenting the assignment for completion to Partner.
– Manage multiple tax assignments concurrently and always ensure the most effective and efficient use of time and resources. Seek guidance from immediate Partner / Director as required.
– Proactively liaise and build effective working relationships with firm staff in all disciplines (Audit, Company Secretarial etc.) to facilitate and support the Tax Department.
– Manage client relationships. Contact, liaise and foster business relationship that develops the client portfolio further.
– Providing advice to high-net-worth individuals and families.
– Undertaking tax due diligence projects and advising shareholders exiting the business.
– Advising on tax incentives for corporates and individuals.
– As well as advising on tax structures, the individual should have experience in implementing the tax structures.
– Participate and assist when required with tenders and / or fee quotes.
– Manage the day-to-day supervision of junior staff, ensure the training needs and on-the-job training are met. Mentor junior staff allocated to assignments and fully participate in all Performance Management initiatives as required.

Your Profile
– A qualification as a Tax Professional is essential and Accountancy qualification is desirable.
– Ideally working in an Irish practice.
– Experience working across multiple tax heads.
– Strong record on providing tax compliance services.
– Strong communication and client handling skills.
– Strong commercial skills and ability to identify business opportunities.
– Proven record of developing staff.
– Strong organisational skills and flexibility in approach.
