A+F Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading global firm to recruit a Tax Technology & Transformation Manager to their consulting team. This newly created role comes as a result of surging demand from clients to implement the right technology solutions for tax. A leader in the market, the firm works with blue chip clients across a broad range of industries.

About the team:
The work is increasingly varied and involves supporting organisations with all aspects of tax technology across all tax heads including:

• The development of long-term tax function tax technology strategies and alignment of same with wider business operating model objectives
• The design, build and implementation of tax solutions using best-in-class artificial intelligence, robotics, data extraction, transformation and analytics functionality
• The implementation of our market leading tax compliance and reporting solutions as well as tax workflow management and PwC hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions
• The optimisation of core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support the delivery of data in fit-for-purpose for tax process execution

About the role:
Use the firm’s specialised tax knowledge, advanced tech solutions, and strong systems to make our clients’ tax processes better. This will boost efficiency, lower risk, and improve compliance.

• Lead and manage cross-functional project delivery teams, comprising tax professionals, software developers, data analysts, and project managers, to design, develop, implement, and integrate innovative tax technology solutions that streamline processes, improve compliance, and optimise tax outcomes. This includes defining project scope, setting milestones, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful delivery
• Foster a high-performance culture within the team by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, recognising achievements, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills, develop their potential, and achieve their career goals, while challenging them to stretch beyond their comfort zone and deliver exceptional results

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in tax/tax tech consulting (1+ years managerial).
• Proven ability to lead and implement tax tech solutions.
• ERP systems/tax engine experience (SAP, Oracle, Vertex etc.).
• Agile tech/analytic solutions experience preferred
• Strong technical & project management skills
• Big 4/large ERP/consulting/multinational experience preferred
