Working for a large international financial institution, this is an important Capital Stress Testing role, at Manager level, which will report to the Director of European Regulatory Policy for Europe.

Responsibilities

  • ECB stress testing exercises, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure accurate data collection, modeling, and analysis.
  • Effectively communicate with senior management, regulators, and internal stakeholders on capital stress testing matters.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the bank’s capital adequacy, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Engage with group wide teams in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive set of stress scenarios, considering both macroeconomic and idiosyncratic risks.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the bank’s ICAAP framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and sound risk management principles.
  • Participate in key ICAAP and other regulatory stress testing-related committees, forums, and reviews as required.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging risks, exploring innovative approaches to capital stress testing.
  • Lead engagements with Internal Audit, track applicable regulatory matters, audit findings, corrective actions and milestones including collection, review, and retention of evidence.
  • Manage and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Ensure that stress tests are executed in line with the relevant local regulations and policies, e.g., Model Risk Management policy, Enterprise Stress Testing policy, etc.

To be considered for this Regulated role via the Central Bank, you will need to demonstrate depth of experience working within the banking sector, specifically in the areas of ICAAP preparation and Stress Test development.
