This Financial Analyst role is a permanent position, working for an International Financial Institution in Dublin as part of their Regulatory Reporting team.
 
This position will assist with the external and internal regulatory reporting of the Ireland subsidiary. It will be necessary to build and maintain a strong internal control environment to ensure that all deliverables are accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
 
The role will suit a highly motivated and ambitious individual with excellent technical and Excel skills with a strong desire to learn and develop their career within the regulatory reporting function in the Financial Services industry. Main responsibilities include:
 
Regulatory Reporting

  • Preparation of prudential returns (including reporting of Capital, Liquidity, Large Exposures, Asset Encumbrance & Leverage Ratio reporting);
  • Preparation of daily MI reporting to senior management;
  • Reviewing reporting procedures, identifying problem areas and liaising with relevant persons to resolve issues as they arise;

Project work

  • Own ad-hoc specified local and global projects and deliver them within demanding timelines whilst maintaining a high standard of technical accuracy.

Risk Management Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and reporting Operational Risk Events in accordance with policy

The ideal person for this role will have some experience in the preparation of prudential returns and a demonstrated ability for accurate reporting, communication skills as well as project management. You must be eligible to work in Dublin and be happy to be in the D2 based office three days per week.
