A+F Recruitment is partnering with one of the world’s leading professional services firms, to recruit a Tax Manager to join their Tax Department. The Dublin office is part of a global network that provides a broad range of audit, tax, consulting, and advisory services to clients across various industries. As a Tax Manager you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including both international corporations and domestic businesses, while collaborating with a talented team of professionals.
Position Overview: In this role, you will lead and manage tax engagements for a mix of international and domestic clients, providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. As a Manager you will provide guidance and support to a team of trainee and recently qualified Tax Accountants.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage tax engagements for a portfolio of international and domestic clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax optimisation and risk mitigation.
- Review and oversee the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry trends, sharing insights and best practices with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and Experience in Irish Tax is essential
- Professional Tax or Accounting Qualification (CTA and/or ACA/ACCA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance or consulting roles, in a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of international and domestic tax laws and regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Proven project management abilities, with a track record of successfully managing multiple engagements and deadlines
