A global firm of Accountants has an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join their tax practice in their Galway or Limerick offices.

The role will suit a qualified tax professional with 5-8 years experience in domestic or international tax.In this role, you will work closely with senior management to lead and manage tax engagements, provide strategic tax advice to clients, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities:

Assist in the management of tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, including international and domestic businesses.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ objectives and regulatory requirements.
Review tax returns and other deliverables prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to clients and team members.
Assist in client communication and relationship management, serving as a trusted advisor and building rapport with key stakeholders.
Support the professional development of junior team members through coaching, training, and mentorship.
Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and industry trends, sharing insights and best practices with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

Professional Tax qualification – CTA preferred.
[5-8] years of experience in tax consulting or advisory roles
Strong understanding of international and domestic tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative tax solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members at all levels
