A small firm of Chartered Accountants, located in the heart of Cork City, has an opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant to support their team in delivering comprehensive accounting services to their clients.
This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, working closely with experienced professionals, in a progressive environment and engaging with a variety of clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a range of clients.
• Conduct bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with senior team members to analyse financial data and provide insights to clients.
• Support in the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance-related activities.
• Assist in liaising with clients to address queries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Part-qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA qualification in progress.
• Previous experience in an accounting role, in a practice environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English
