Job Overview.

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of group company accounts up to Trial Balance
• Perform reconciliations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
• Process invoices, expense claims, and payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA/ ACA/ ATI) is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ systems
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
