Senior Finance Manager

Our client is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their German subsidiary. As part of their highly successful and dynamic international organization, you will play a crucial role in providing overall financial direction and leadership to their German business.
Responsibilities:

• Plan and forecast financial activities
• Manage cashflow effectively
• Analyse and report on performance indicators
• Oversee accounting and tax reporting obligations
• Coordinate billing and collections, ordering and payments
• Perform various tasks related to finance and administration

Skills, knowledge and attributes:

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration or Professional Accounting Qualification
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing general finance functions
• Ideally, experience working for the subsidiary of a US MNC with practical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards including Italian, IFRS, and US GAAP
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics for communication to regional and corporate headquarters
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft AX or other ERP systems
• Fluent in German and professional English
